The large RJs are the economic bridge for the 50 seat market. 110 seats may be too great a leap so 76 is the fix. That's fine, I'd fly a 76 seat jet for the right pay and schedule. The entire business plan has been about efficiencies via up gauging, judging from this month the old business plan (pre-pandemic) is alive and well.
What would the 'right schedule' be. They would fly exactly the same kind of thing they do at the regionals. I would bet it might even be a little more egregious in order to be profitable at a higher hourly rate.
