I’m sure they could make more money coming over to mainline but they’d be getting their chain yanked around for a few years until they get some decent seniority at a base they’d like to be in. Granted if we end up hiring 200/mo starting next year that’ll lessen the pain some but still they are in a very cushy spot right now.

Every situation is different. 2-3 years left probably isn’t worth it. Especially if you are a sim instructor driving to work crediting 100 hrs / month. When you calculate the pay… 3 years DL vs EDV is probably pretty close. Factor in costs starting over. Commuting/Crashpad/training.
I expect that more of them look at Compass, and to a lesser extent ASA, and what happened to the ones who made that choice previously than would have a year ago.
