Mainline frequencies have dropped from over 90% to less than 40% at SFO. Almost all of the former VX flying is now operated by SkyWest DBA Alaska Airlines.

As a whole: SkyWest flying DBA Alaska Airlines is up 12 percent and Mainline Alaska flying is down 18 percent from 2019.

There are 36 less mainline aircraft at Alaska than there were in 2019

The number of regional aircraft has only decreased by one Q400.

It could be more, regional aircraft today than 2019 - if aircraft operated by SkyWest DBA Alaska Airlines were included. But I’m not sure about this.

Every pilot in the industry should be concerned by Alaska Airlines management’s prioritization of Regional airline expansion. As it represents an unfair advantage at the expense of a unionized mainline pilot group.

Precisely ! Now you few idiots (yes voters, since I was a kid etc) come chiming in about “this lottery” BS , “just leave” BS, “I’m sitting on my boat right now in gig”
Tell these folks how great a job it is, but just don’t forget to tell them how anti-labor groups the mgmt is, if you don’t , you obviously weren’t at any of the flight path meetings, scope has never affected an airline pilot (BT)
