We had a guy upgrade out of new hire training. That’s why you’re seeing the kicking and screaming. In my case, once I had hit my hours, I upgraded. They emailed my upgrade award prior to having the required hours to upgrade speculating I’d reach the minimum requirement just prior.

Probably half the pilot group at OO have only known once you hit minimum hours to upgrade, you’re locked for an upgrade class date. So it’s tough to be surprised on why you see the complaints.
