I wouldn’t think to claim the CDC is free from political & financial pressures, or that it’s otherwise beyond reproach, but it would take a MASSIVE coordinated malfeasance of reporting (like over 90%) to make COVID less than a top ten killer in 2020. I can’t tell if you understand this & are being intentionally vague, or if you’re all in on the conspiracy theory. Care to ballpark how many reported COVID deaths you believe to be legitimate?
States and cities that have corrected only for OBVIOUS cases like overdose, murders, and suicides have reduced their numbers by 25%. If they’ve gone down that much for deaths that generally make up a small percentage of total deaths then your guess is as good as mine for all the other causes as well. If they go down 25% for just those causes you’re actually a conspiracy theorist if you think the “official” total CDC numbers are anywhere close to accurate.
