Realistically, for someone hired in the next year how long would they be looking at for an upgrade? The numbers for mandatory retirements on APC between now and 2044 only add up to a little over 1000, so something's off there.
it’s easy math, you have an 89+ year old airline that has less than 210 mainline jets (data from April 2021). and just confirmed in their last call (June 2021) that they like to grow Regional Jets more (not flown by Pilots on the AS seniority list).
That should tell you everything you need to know! This is NOT a growth airline, simple!
