Is it going to stay that way when we get more flying? I flew the 175 with 1-2 legs a day so that to me is regional flying. I'd imagine the schedule's been truncated down due to covid but there is no 220 base here so not sure what the flying is like. I too flew the E175 out of LAX and the 220 flying right now is very similar to what I flew at my “regional”. Will it stay? Who knows. But I’m headed to the 7ER for base/commute reasons. But I Love the 220 overall.
In my uneducated opinion the 220 won’t be doing 717 style flying just due to the nature of its efficiency and range but with 50 more airframes to come there will be changes in trip construction I’m sure.
