Not sure how that's going to be possible, since a new hire can hold anything except a 767-400, 777, and, curiously, 73N in certain bases. With the 777 growth, there are going to be vacancies in 767 and 7ER in most if not all domiciles, and many are going to be filled by new hires from NYC7ER and NYCM88, as the senior guys will be moving up to 765 and 777, as well as M88A. Sorry, but there's no provision for an "AE for everyone but the new hires."

The only thing that's going to stop new hires from going NYC7ER (and thus bidding off it right away) is to pay what the flying should be worth (relative to domestic) so that senior guys will bid there by choice, or to stop having AE's altogether.
