Starting point is 14 days off per month. The CBA defines how those can be spread out during the month. Currently, 50% of lines (also applies to reserve lines) must contain all 14 days off in a single block. That could be at the beginning of the month, the end of the month, or somewhere in the middle. The remaining lines must contain at least one block of five days off and one block of six days off, or a block of 10 off and a block of 4 off. Minimum number of work days in a block is three. And then there are some other details, but this is the general outline.
Generally, if you want to break up your schedule across the month, you're going to be able to do that between bidding and schedule adjustments.
The Europe flying isn't especially senior. I've seen some fairly junior people on those trips.
