Not B bashing, just the 737. My advice is that If you are going to limit yourself to a single fleet carrier pick one that has, from a pilots perspective a comfortable place to spend 8 hours of your work day, I consider that just as important as other quality of life items we are hoping to get in contract 2020.
Not sure what a retiring SWA pilot with 30+ years has to do with anything but a good contract with improvements is not the only thing that matters when you are picking an airline you are going to spend decades of your life at. Having the option to fly wide bodies should be a consideration and the QOL that can bring.
If we had the pay, contract and scheduling flexibility that SWA pilots enjoy your next 28 years may just be tolerable in the 737.
