to that I知 not sure. But I imagine it must have been doing something for them otherwise why fly it? I assume it was either stand alone profitable or it allowed them to win corporate contracts they otherwise would not have won that made it worthwhile. If it was close to profitable on the a318 the fuel savings of an A220 might push it over the edge to profitability. Lots of finance people flying between NYC and London who I imagine would have paid a premium to fly out of LCY.

I知 not sure how expensive it would be to take 4-5 A220s and have them all D1 suites, but I imagine not too bad given they would be identical MX wise to our other 220s, it would not be a different airframe/engine like the a318s.

to clarify I知 not saying we have to/ need to do LCY from JFK/BOS, I知 just saying if we wanted to we probably could. ( I think we would have to get the non de rated engines for those planes but I知 not sure)
