Has anyone been in a similar situation? I feel like if I'm not flying, the world is passing me by. However, a 50% pay cut is a kick in the teeth.
How old are you? But I would do it and don’t look back unless you
want to stay at the job and have to look for another job when they sell the plane. Get to the regionals, upgrade ASAP, apply to any major and that one time 50% payout will
easily be worth it and you will be kicking yourself for not going to the regionals a lot earlier in your life and already being at a major by the time your kid was born.
