You should hit the regional, fly your tail off, and apply to every ulcc in the mean time as an FO. You're not too old to make the jump. Go to the place where you'll fly alot and upgrade immediately at 1000hrs 121 time. You need a seniority number on a Boeing or Airbus asap.
