One big advantage that the 767ER had- the jets were paid off and Network could experiment with new routes with decreased potential downside losses if the route didn't end up being profitable. Flying the biggest international jets will get you your fill of CDG, AMS and ICN layovers. But, if international business travel ever returns, Network
might try again with some
great 2nd tier cities. Cities such as GLA, EDI, ARN, FBU, ARN, WAW, LYS, OTP, MAN, AGP, TXL, PRG, BUD.
If you wanted to "see the world", and you were senior enough to hold international, the 767ER, historically, was a great way to do that. Hopefully traffic overseas will return and Network will once again shift the ER to oceanic destinations.
