I’ll add a few cons:

The recall system…doesn’t work correctly more than half of the time. Absolutely a 1960’s design.

Loud…but correctable with a $1000.00 headset

Frost on the top of the wing…yes we need sprayed when no one else does.

Climate control is garbage unless it’s working correctly, which has been better lately…Tec Ops maybe.

900 needs more landing techniques compared with any other aircraft I’ve flown..you would rather fly 10 fast than 1 knot slow. Maybe that’s why we get a report with all aspects of available data for every takeoff and landing.

Forward galley is smaller than a regional jet.

Flight deck is smaller than a regional jet for that matter.

FO need to store bag in forward closet, where FAs stack their stuff on yours. In a 900 FO needs to swim upstream to mid cabin order to retrieve bag.

Toilet seat won’t stay up…saw someone write that up the other day! Must be their “thing” but made me laugh.

Every one of these is compared to other aircraft in general. When compared directly to a 320, the list could be much larger.
Recall System... It is an outdated pain but the positive is no nuisance messages that need to be cleared. High dispatch reliability.

The plane is loud, but every jet has hot mic. David Clark Pro X is most commonly used headset. $750

Frost on top of the wing...havent encountered frost from cold soaked fuel yet but if it's within a certain area marked on the wing we're good to go no deice

Climate control works fine. Set AAA or ATT and adjust from there.

900 has one technique... Don't land below Vref.

Forward galley? We're not FAs

FO bag situation is a major pain on the 900. Especially when your bag is buried behind all the FAs. 800 is not bad. Similar to 717/88.

I flew the CRJ at the regionals. 737 cockpit is substantially bigger.

Toilet seat won't stay up... Really? [emoji23]
