Why do people wait until the day before the bid closes to put in their bids? Serious question. The last vacancy bid showed IAH 777 FO going junior up until a few days before.
They’re just making last minute decisions. Some later decide that they want the bid, some change their minds and pull it. Snapshots really don’t mean much. If someone wants a particular BES at a given percentage, then just put the bid in and wait for the final award to see if it hit.
