But hey, rather than check out the given references and do a little research it’s a lot easier for you to defend your POV by saying opposing arguments are just “sound bites. Almost all in our family had Covid. We tested positive, then negative and now test positive for the antibodies. I’m currently testing positive for antibodies through the Red Cross eight months later. I also know for a fact I’ve been exposed since and have not gotten re-infected.

The data I’ve posted in the past also points out that while there is a rise in the delta variant in vaccinated people, that has not happened in previously infected people. Efficacy from infection is 99.35%, higher than any vax, and historically, previous infections are effective against variants up to 80% different than the original infection. Research my post history for those links.

So instead of doing what you’re accusing me of, read the studies to get your info and lay off the CNN.

I read your studies but unfortunately they are the same studies being used as factual disinformation by media outlets and covid deniers. Stating a fact and then extrapolating outward to give credence to whatever nonsense claim is made. That's great that you and your family are well. My point is that the anti-science crowd wont get the antibody test to confirm that they actually had a strong enough reaction to covid to produce antibodies. These people that refuse to do their part due to half baked conspiracies, misinformation, and fear mongering are doing a lot of unnecessary harm. You and your family having the intelligence and the means to get the antibody test is probably an outlier. Promoting those studies as fact that people that "had it" don't need the vaccine is wrong. You need antibodies to have protection and there's only one way to know that for sure.

My whole family was quarantined because one of our own "had it" and talked a big game and then got it for real somewhere on our trip. Your downplaying of the delta variant is inexcusable in the face of only having 25% of the world vaccinated. This thing will keep mutating and spreading while misinformation and pure conspiracies are sold as fact.
