Are the variants more or less deadly? Mass media and government don't really say. I wonder why. A virus that mutates to be more deadly is not in the viruses best interest to spread and live.
The media reported extensively on the outbreaks in India (Delta) and Brazil (Gamma). Do you have access to news about countries outside of the US?
