Most recruiters have no interest in recruiting pilots. To get the reserve or guard job you will have to try to find contact numbers and just call and find out if any are interviewing. I know plenty of guys flying in the reserves whose fathers are not colonels, me included. Just get out there and contact every reseve unit you can, eventually it will pay off.
