O.k., I re-read your post now and I think I understand what happened. I would only add once again that once you by a ticket your a customer and not a jumpseater. Beyond that, smile and show them the ticket and ask them if they treat all of their customers like that.
I agree but playing nice is important especially with what may one day be a potential employer. I thought it was a little much on both the FAs part feeling neglected and the FOs attempt to resolve it and it put me in a bad mood but I was going to Disneyland with my family so I got over it fast
