That's what I was leaning towards seeing the timeframe all these pilots are having to wait. I can see the frustration of waiting this long on their faces. I know getting into the program is not a CJO, but only a handful of people, maybe 6 or 7 have gotten a class date through Aviate since UAL started hiring this year. Appreciate your input friend. This is false. Many more than 6-7 have been placed into class via Aviate this year. Haven't read through this whole thread, but it was announced that everyone meeting the Aviate requirements (time at UAX) will be in class by the Spring.
I'd say for someone just getting started in their career, Aviate is the way to go. One and done interview. Just do your time at the selected UAX carrier. For those that are more experienced, you'll probably do better applying off the street. To each their own.
