I actually haven't flown Cal in years...like 8 or so. Back then I was stationed in Kingsville, TX and it was either them or AA out of Corpus Christi to get anywhere. I currently live outside of DC, so they don't have a huge presence there. Not sure why I haven't gotten them DH'ding in to work, but if I'm going International I'm usually direct out of IAD.

That said, according to my coworkers they are the way to go when DH'ding.

Something that's not mentioned, but normally JB, SWA and even CAL are NOT the cheapest way to fly. Just a better experience that folks who travel a lot will pay more for.

I think the term "passenger experience" gets lost in the $'s too often.
