I think most of the guys in the training department have a pretty good life and make pretty good money. What is it, 95 hours pay per month? Plus they seem to suck up some pretty choice OT, but that is partly due to high seniority of many of them.
That being said, just like anything, it’s supply and demand. If you aren’t getting the people you need to do a job, you need to make it more appealing to do so.
Mostly I think the problem is that they don’t have any commuter friendly options. That eliminates 90% of the pilot group.
