Rumor has Envoy transferring more E145s to Piedmont starting Sept 2021. Also, it appears Envoy has a significant order (62?) of new E175s, likely to backfill for those E145s, plus added flying. But those are unconfirmed rumors.
Where does it “appear” that more 175s are on order? The last six new ones were sold off to RAH. AAG and ENY has always made a
BIG deal of any new 175 aircraft LONG before they were ever seen (last of the order took almost five years to show up, and technically the last six were used 170s instead). Especially the way ENY is going on recruiting now, I’d think they would want that info officially released,
yesterday.
The way past transfers and divestments went and with training being what it is, if they announced tomorrow that all the 145s were going away, it would take at least three years to make it happen.
