Hard? Depends how hard you want to work. Even a junior line holder can trade/swap/pickup their way into 100 credit if they go down to min days off and fly all the dogsh*t that gets dumped into open time.

Premium is about 50% positioning yourself (being senior enough to be awarded days off when premium trips are likely to come up) 25% where you fall on the list (the more premium credit you accumulate, the farther down the list you move) and 25% luck (trips actually come up, people higher up the list pass or don’t answer etc).
