I don’t have a problem with them developing and using an app to notify us. We don’t have to operate in the Stone Age when it comes to technology.

We had such a program on our phones at my last job and it was damn handy. Direct messaging beats the South Florida phone tree fiasco, emailtdown, hair care and tire center outfit that they’re running now. But I’d appreciate them approaching the union first and working out an LOA. There’s no need to wait 2+ years to get this done, and asking the company to increase our monetary benefits or we’ll make them keep trying to contact us at the cutting edge of 1997 is just as silly as it sounds.
