I've done something very similar and have found the numbers to be nowhere near 90%. I don't think their is any group of people in the country (pick your demographic) that are at 90% especially amongst healthy, generally fit, working age folks that have their medical records scrutinized bi-annually.
It will be a high number and sadly many will likely sacrifice their integrity to keep the paychecks. I don't think it will be 99.8% though. My guess is around 95% (less amongst other employee groups), which leaves a lot of honest folks with sincere convictions out of a job. This includes folks in the highest unvax groups (minorities) and folks on the lower end of the socioeconomic spectrum (most employees are not pilots). It also puts these employees in the limelight that historically is very negative towards the UAL image. UAL picked this battle to be the super-woke airline; many likely will take this battle head-on and the resulting mess will not be favorable for the company or these employees. It's a shame the company chose this as a battle to wage; almost an internal civil war which is a lose-lose. Dr. Dao was a total POS scumbag and he smeared our image in peoples' minds for years. Imagine a hard working, dedicated employee with a family to feed. Maybe a bunch of these folks with heroic and honorable backgrounds getting axed.
I believe its more accurate that they will be sacrificing their health rather than their integrity.
