That's very true. Too many people think talking to their Chief puts a target on their back. If anything it's the exact opposite. Being on a first name basis with my chiefs over the years has made the job more... personable? I don't know how to explain it but it's better than my first years where I tried to be anonymous. Even if you don't talk to your CP, at least write your reps.
