You do realize that the entire “getting the vaccine” argument in order to participate in society immediately falls apart when you take into account the fact that the COVID shots do not provide immunity. You can still be infected, carry the virus and spread it to others. So now what’s the reason to get it?
I honestly don't understand how you are a paramedic with zero medical knowledge. Look at the hospitalizations in the UK for this wave vs last. There's proof of reduced transmission, little to no side effects, and the icu is wide open for real emergencies. That is why we need people to get vaccinated.
