It depends. Does this hypothetical pilot already fly for uax? Do they have the time required at that UAX carrier? If not, then 2-3 years flying a pretty hefty load. If they do have the time, I believe United said a couple of weeks ago that everyone that currently meets the requirements will be transitioned by April of 2022.
