I am an FO for eagle, been here almost 2 yrs and have been in BOS on the ERJ since I got hired. BOS is an awesome town if you can handle the weather, great experience flying the northeast corridor too. Boston has over 16 colleges (BU, BC, Harvard, Northeastern, MIT, Tufts, etc etc) sooo you can imagine being young and single in this town, its the best. Its easy to get to the airport, i use the subway 90% of the time, take a cab for the real early sign ins.

My buddy from college flies for eagle out of San Juan on the ATR. I go visit a lot and its a blast. Beach, warm weather, cool flying, puerto rican women. CONS: operations in general sucks down there, so everything is slowww, also everyone speaks spanish. If you can be laid back and easy-going then its a good place to be.

I had TDY in ORD for a month. ORD has tons of flying and a huge base. Most of the flying is to little cornfield airports in the midwest. The city if Chicago is awesome also. Subway runs 24/7 so its easy to get to the airport on it if you have no car. More cold weather and snow. Lots of great bars and nightlife in the Northside, clubs downtown.

I would recommend AE to those interested. Yes upgrades are a long time. AE is stable, feeds AA which is strong for a legacy carrier. Good equipment. Lots of bases. Pay is decent. Captains are very experienced and good to learn from. FAs are ... well... experienced and have flown for many many years. If you are willing to live in base then your QOL will be good. I wouldnt recommend to those who would need to commute a long distance. Good luck!
