They wanted me to go LAX-BWI no ice no water. I told them to cancel the flight. Called dispatch told them I’m cancelling the flight. Called the CP on duty told them I’m cancelling the flight. (He was cool with it.)
20 minutes later, guess what showed up at the airplane.
Ice and water is for medical emergencies. And we have plenty of them.
Put your foot down and say no.
Someone already mentioned it, and while I like your style, you have zero say in cancelling a flight. F9 pulls this water bs all the time too and won’t reimburse crews for buying water as a last resort.
