Not saying your concerns aren’t valid, they are, but don’t volunteer unless your #1 priority is in assisting the present US mission. The company will not have trouble finding volunteers.
To the essence of your query “no.” Just looking for some basic info. How would my transitioning from a current bid line to “partial reserve line” work out from a credit/pay perspective? Is there a likelihood the flying will be sufficient to attain an above “normal” amount of credit for the month? How does this temporary base work? Within the selected cadre of pilots, how is flying assigned?
I was hoping for a FAQ type of info sheet that would allow pilots to make an informed decision.
More power to you if you want to cliff jump into a pond without knowing the water depth. I’m just curious and somewhat surprised that Delta has not been more forthcoming with an explanation of how this will play out for bidders.
