In relation to Iceland’s death I’d say it’s pretty hard to compare 0 deaths to 2 deaths in one week. I mean maybe that’s because of the vaccine. I’ll give you that one. But as far as cases go… there’s no explanation other than… you need boosters for eternity.
My conclusion, based on what I have read is that for vaccinated people the chance of getting covid is "much" smaller, and the health impact less severe. In Iceland the peak was 165/100K infections, and it's going down, with, sofar, no new fatalities. That is a high number, considering 85% of the adults are vaccinated. Unvaccinated infection rates are about twice as high as for vaccinated, so it helps, but not as good as I hoped for. Current new infection rate in the US is still twice as high though, and almost all deaths and hospitalizations are in unvaccinated (and obese) people.
I think it's worth a shot.... or three.
Hopeful that as more people get it without getting really sick, natural immunity will get better, reducing the need for boosters in healthy people.
Good talking to you, no sarcasm
