If you open the app. Multitask over to settings. Then disconnect. Then multitask back to the app still running in the background. Then yes. It works. I’ll start writing that at the bottom of the preflight checklist in every aircraft. Oh wait…. Canabus.

If you’re offline, the app is not running in the background, and you open it. It does not work.

If your tablet is connected to the aircraft WiFi and you open it. It does not work.

This is all iOS.

The app should never have any of these issues period. Whatever state it is in, background or cold start, it should default to displaying cached data until fresh data is retrieved in the background.
