Bottom line, they can’t throw money at it to fix it, it isn’t working. When someone asked why we are the only ones having the staffing issues, he balked back that everyone was having these issues.
I would expect little noticeable difference in ground staffing and gate availability for a while. And apparently we had another IT crash for a few hours a few days ago, leading to long phone delays again. But they are making schedulers work 12 hour shifts now, so im sure that will work 🙄
It really seemed like they have no idea how to “fix” these issues and are trying to just watch the operation closely for signs for next collapse. However he did say they really didn’t know at what point a situation gets so bad it becomes a melt down, as in, what the point of now return is on the operation that you have to prevent reaching to avoid the meltdown.
But hey, uniforms! And someone asked about in seat power outlets for that smoking fast WiFi. 😒
