They want to hire more than 1,000 pilots by next summer. The new system seems to me it’s more seamless and stop wasting time of day 1 of the last interview process. There might be 200-300 positions right now, but after the next bid, there will be more available. The positions available are the ones that current pilots don’t bid.
If they invite you for the assessment, they want you, but now they are not willing to spend a full day of testing when they can be doing face to face to see if you fit.
Also, no JKT is a huge plus.
