No internal airline recommendations
Live in NYC
Currently working in retirement for a 135 outfit (Hold PIC type) and thinking about a change. So what do you think am I too old for the Majors (JetBlue) to hire.

Not too old imo. Don’t think airlines can legally discriminate based on age. Apply and see what happens. I’m sure they’d value the experience of a retired fed. Flew with a newish guy near your age a little bit ago, only a couple years younger than you when he started.
