Yup! That's the understatement of the year. Last year I was able to execute a series of trades to cobble together a summer vacation to take the family on a long Alaska cruise for our 20th anniversary. It cancelled. (thanks Covid) Rebooked for next summer... so gotta try and do it all over again now!
I use “personal time off” for those kinds of things. I bid vacation based on what months I was to pad my paycheck and I can pick up premium over it since we aren’t going anywhere
