Hate to break it to you, but Denver is rapidly going the way of those places with the politics and cost of living. Homeless everywhere, housing through the roof, single party rule firmly in place. Still love it, but you only have to look at CA to see the future of CO.
Back to the original question, the thing that attracted me to SWA initially was that there were legitimately 4 or 5 domiciles that I found acceptable, plus you had the ability to jump around monthly (not lately I know). Flown with several guys who summered in Denver, wintered somewhere warmer. Honestly don’t know where SWA would be on my list today though. Probably not first, but definitely not last.
