Some people are concerned about what AW will do as the 200 aircraft fly less and less at United. You never know what may happen, just see Trans States and Expressjet. No one could say for sure what will happen here in the next couple years. It isn't without some risk, but then that's how regionals are.

That being said, if being in GUM and at United is a big priority for you, I would take the chance. It's a good pilot group, our contract is pretty good, there is a lot of flying to be had, and movement is very good. And, should the worst happen, the job market is good enough that you should be able to find another regional while you finish the Aviate commitments.

Hopefully I can get into aviate program… it sounds very competitive. I have three failed checkrides on my record so I was heavily leaning for Envoy for the flow. Sigh* those failures will haunt me forever….
