it tells you that you are approaching xx runway as you taxi up to it or are on approach to land on it and it also tells you when you are on that runway

some old planes also have the altitude selection value in meters next to the clock time on the SD in between the TAT/SAT and aircraft GW. It didn’t have that extra value before.

They sent a read file for the EIS update for those changes but that read file didn’t mention these two changes.

anyways back to your normal scheduled APC programming
To remove altitude select in meters above clock time on SD, just press Metric ALT pb on glareshield between the ALT and V/S knob!
