I dislike hypocrisy too, but it only condemns the guilty party, not the underlying principle. If I tell my kids not to drink & drive but I do it myself, it doesn’t mean drunk driving is a good idea, it only means I don’t practice what I preach.
If Gavin Newsom breaks his own COVID rules it means he should be held to account- it doesn’t mean the rules become invalid.
I think up until 2020 it was pretty much common knowledge that most politicians are lobbied hardcore by drug companies. Do you have a better explanation for why he won’t give other countries that need vaccines the recipe even though he’s been perfectly legally able to for the last several months? It is a proven fact now that he received bribes while he was Vice President. Even CNN admitted so and they’re the most trusted name in news.
I don’t think he’s profiting off masks directly. He’s just looking out for his lobbying buddies. A big reason why masks in schools (only in this country) is because the American Academy of Pediatricians recommended so to the CDC and White House. On their own website it shows their primary source of funding is Pfizer. You honestly don’t think Pfizer has an interest in telling kids they have to wear a mask unless their vaccinated? Or they have to wear a mask until they’re eligible and then have to get the vaccine?
Please explain why else Joey Bribes won’t let other desperate countries have access the vaccine make up and also why other countries aren’t requiring their kids to wear masks in schools?
And the fact that so many politicians break their own rules over and over again just shows how little they’re worried about it. If they were as worried as what they preach they would willfully obey their own rules. As recent as two days ago Nancy Pelosi, AOC, and close to 100 others were all jam packed together. Only ONE had a mask on in the entire group. As soon as it was “official” photo shoot time all the masks came on. They don’t care. It’s all for show. The only people that are actually scared are the people that vote for them. The politicians aren’t scared one bit.
