Exactly. The schedules will be forced to become more efficient, which is a good thing. Nothing like flying 3 legs, sitting for 4 hours, then one leg to the outstation for a min rest. It's infuriating as we all know. Anyway, I don't think the Unions would be willing to sacrifice days off at any cost. That's the only reason many people I know stick with this career - the time away from home is balanced by the days off. Take those away and many people will leave (me included).
