OTOH, multiple short layovers after 5-leg days and winter weather get old, too. One leg and done. And, I did it the hard way, military and corporate.
I'm a one-and-done guy myself to be sure. I Just try to avoid as much WOCL as possible.
If I need a day off for some family thing I'd rather do 3-4 legs the day before than a red-eye (or early show east of base). QOL suffers for 24-30 hours after.
