The data from actual covid hospitalizations show that previous infections are extremely small compared to the vaccinated crowd. I don’t care what a CDC opinion shows. I care what the data shows. Any actual real world data and Dr. Fauci both say there’s no good reason for previous infections to get vaccinated. Although, Dr. Fauci still says to get vaccinated even though he can’t explain why. Yea of course the vaccine could boost your immunity. But if you’re already 27x less likely to be reinfected, a vaccine is going to make you what? 28x less likely? Who cares at the point?
You are right. Anyone can probably find studies “proving” anything online now, and it’s not easy to know what to believe. I definitely believe a previous infection provides at least the same protection as any of the vaccines. Can’t really back it up, but it makes sense to me, and that’s how most of us work. For me a mandate with boosters is acceptable, but I definitely would agree with acceptable exceptions such as positive anti body test and a doctors (not chiropractor/faith healer) recommendation not to get vaccinated. Because of my personal beliefs (none) I don’t agree with a religious exemption, but I think I might be a minority with that one.
