They did alot to fix some of the most onerous parts of the contract over the years. Why the hate? A stronger more unified results when everyone rows together.
Some how our degrees in Engineering, the applied sciences, time in DC working in the acquisition budgeting, strategic planning, attaches at US Embassies, foreign service officers, pol mil advisors no, none of that prepares us for anything. Many bring a few decades of experience in with them outside of aviation.
But most certainly a degree from ERAU or some other "Harvard of the sky" and a few years at a regional make you any better?
I don't think so.
