Instead of starting a new thread I thought I'd just add to this one:

I'm a current 135 PIC, 30 seater turboprop, approaching 1000 TPIC, 3500 TT, Masters Degree in Aviation, no checking event failures. I did leave a regional a couple years back during training for a quick 135 upgrade and TPIC time, but no other "issues" on my resume. Though the majors would be nice, I'd be very happy with a quality LCC. Any thoughts on if the majors would be interested in my type of experience or if I would need to go to the regionals first?

I would rank order the airlines based on what matters to you and your family. Than I would start by applying at your dream airline and work my way down the list. Theoretically, you already meet the requirements pretty much anywhere. Obviously, you will be more competitive some places than others, but make your dream company say no, don’t screen yourself out.
