It seems like common sense, but it's not always the case. Natural immunity in many cases is proportional to the severity of the illness, and variable from individual to individual. With covid-19 it looks pretty good, at least for those who had symptomatic covid.

Authorities waive vaccine mandates for those who had the bug in question for some diseases, but not for others.
