For the interview for FOs they have used a Frasca, configured as a 6 pack Bonanza, or the PC-12 configured FTD. If the person being interviewed is applying to be a Direct Entry Captain then the sim is the PC-12. We don't do NDB approaches on our checkrides so I wouldn't expect one on the interview. Do plan on a VOR approach, with the possibility of an ILS, but not a GPS approach. If the sim is in the PC-12 they don't expect you to know the buttonology so there is another examiner in the other seat to do that for you, don't be reluctant to use him. They are evaluating your instrument flying capabilities not your buttonology. Another suggestion make sure you can read and understand Jepps, including ODPs.
